Kim

chief executive organiser

What did you like to do as a child?

Play in my paddle pool and tow my red ‘plastic’ dog behind me.  Scout camps!  Dad was a Scout leader and I was introduced to the great outdoors, the Aussie bush and umm boys!

What were your previous incarnations?

After a first life in the fashion industry in the late 80s (the best time!), I was lured away from shoulder pads to take up the fight for endangered wildlife as PR and media for World Wildlife Fund. Spanning Sydney, South Africa and the UK, I worked on major awareness conservation projects and campaigns towards stamping out the illegal wildlife trade whilst living OS.

The 90s are a bit of a blur but much time was spent working in my family business and with Sydney based legal firm Mallesons. Reincarnated again, I moved to the Manning Valley in 2009 and worked as the Tourism Coordinator for Manning Valley Tourism after completing a Diploma in Business Management, Project Management and Hospitality Supervision.

In 2011 I became the Project Coordinator and Marketing Manager for Australia’s top touring drive from Sydney to Brisbane – The Legendary Pacific Coast.  Here I worked closely with Regional Tourism Organisations along the North Coast and nearly 500 tourism industry stakeholders – from tourism businesses to local and state government agencies.

What makes you happy?

At work, doing a great job for clients and seeing them breathe a sigh of relief.  Top 5 at home, creating calming spaces, Vodka, my dogs licks, lead lighting and swimming in Dingo Creek!

If you had the money of Bill Gates, what would you do with it?

Rescue all abandoned and harmed animals and provide them with the love and support they need. Address mental health issues in our communities and wipe out the live animal export trade.

How did you end up at Well Creative?

I was a client of Well Creative when working for The Legendary Pacific Coast, I was in touch with the boyz nearly every day for several years.  They did a heap of creative, touring guides and website projects and I loved their them and the work they did!  I wanted to be part of a dynamic team that provided an excellent service for their clients and they needed someone to organise their studio.  As they say, the rest is history, their Chief Executive Organiser was born!

What is something you want to do that you are yet to do?

Truly relax and one day see family and friends on the other side but just not yet….
