SHEET-FED VS WEB-FED
SHEET-FED OFFSET PRINTING
Refers to a method in which individual pages of paper are fed into the printing press. This printing method is popular for small and medium-sized fixed jobs such as limited-edition books. This gives you a better print quality.
WEB-FED OFFSET PRINTING
Refers to a method in which a continuous roll of paper is fed through the printing press. An example of this is newspaper printing. Once you are above 40,000 copies it is better value than sheet-fed printing. The print quality is still very good but for high end books and magazines it is better to print sheet-fed.
